Read on for some of the things that surprised me when I first got to Ireland. I thought a lot of the phrases in Ireland would be similar to what I heard in the UK. But I knew I finally adapted to the language when I found the words "thanks a million" (or "thanks a mil") and "bye bye bye … bye bye bye bye" after any phone call slipping off my tongue. Moldova (PSRM), Igor Dodon, amenință cu proteste la Curtea Supremă de Justiție (CSJ) după ce joi, 8 iulie, Curtea de Apel Chișinău (CA) a anulat anexele hotărârii Comisiei privind deschiderea a 41 de secții de vot pentru alegătorii din stânga Nistrului, cu obligarea reducerii numărului secțiilor de vot până la 12. Anunțul a fost făcut de către Igor Dodon vineri, 9 iulie, în cadrul emisiunii sale „Președintele Igor Dodon răspunde”. „Cu două zile înainte de alegeri, Curtea de Apel a anulat deschiderea a 29 secții de vot. Îndemn toți susținătorii partidului socialiștilor și comuniștilor să vină la 12:00 la Curtea Supremă de Justiție (CSJ) să protestăm. Cinci zile mai târziu, la 15 iunie, Comisia Electorală Centrală (CEC) a revizuit numărul secțiilor de votare pentru alegătorii din stânga Nistrului.

Comisia Electorală Centrală (CEC) atacă cu recurs la Curtea Supremă de Justiție (CSJ) decizia Curții de Apel Chișinău (CA) prin care au fost anulate anexele hotărârii Comisiei privind deschiderea a 41 de secții de vot pentru alegătorii din stânga Nistrului, cu obligarea reducerii numărului secțiilor de vot până la 12. Informația a fost confirmată pentru Ziarul de Gardă de către purtătoarea de cuvânt a CEC, Rodica Sîrbu. Cinci zile mai târziu, la 15 iunie, Comisia Electorală Centrală (CEC) a revizuit numărul secțiilor de votare pentru alegătorii din stânga Nistrului. Astfel, pentru alegătorii din stânga Nistrului vor fi deschise 41 de secții de votare și nu 44, așa cum a decis CEC anterior. Potrivit CEC, decizia a fost luată urmare discuțiilor din cadrul Comisiei Unificate de Control pe marginea subiectului dat și în vederea „neadmiterii acțiunilor ce ar putea periclita buna desfășurare a procesului electoral”.
